Coopers Vintage Ale

Every year, the brew team at Coopers challenges themselves to make their best beer of the year. To celebrate its 25th release, the 2025 edition of Vintage Ale features two aromatic NZ hop varieties, Southern Cross and Peacharine. This limited seasonal release is never around for long. And once they’re gone, they’re gone. For each Vintage, we use a new combination of hops. For Vintage Ale 2025, Peacharine hops deliver heady stone fruit aromas, while Southern Cross hops add appealing lemon zest and spicy notes. Vintage Ale is perfect to drink when released, but this age-worthy ale will develop over time as the hop aromatics soften and the malty characters come to the fore.
