Our Story
Sanne Slijper en Martijn Disseldorp beginnen in 2012 met het brouwen van bier. Ze waren toen allebei nog werkzaam als kok in loondienst. Hun wens is om "onze huizen volledig te vullen met zelfgemaakte funky bieren". In 2013 treden ze uit dienst om van hun hobby een serieus biermerk te maken. De onderneming wordt op 16 januari 2013 ingeschreven in het register van de Kamer van Koophandel. Sindsdien experimenteren beide chefs eindeloos met spannende smaakcombinaties en nieuwe technieken.
Aanvankelijk maakte de brouwerij gebruik van de brouwfaciliteiten van de Sallandse Landbier Brouwerij. In november 2014 werd een klein pakhuis in Amsterdam-Noord in gebruik genomen. Twee jaar later wordt een crowdfunding campagne gestart. Met de drie ton die wordt opgehaald is een nieuwe loods in het westelijk havengebied van Amsterdam betrokken.
Op 2 maart 2017 kon het eerste bier uit de eigen brouwketels worden geproefd. In april 2017 zorgden de ontwerpers Chris en Sander voor een facelift van de etiketten. Op 20 april 2017 werd de nieuwe brouwerij officieel geopend. In november 2018 is een nieuwe afvullijn in gebruik genomen. Ook wordt de webshop aan het eind van dat jaar geopend.
