Ancient Engineering: Stone Quern

Stone Quern is our first Belgian Quadrupel, brewed together with the family maltsters of Dingemans. To push this beer beyond the ordinary, we went for a quadruple mash — 1.2 kg of malt in every single liter. The result is a deep, ruby-red base where flavor comes straight from grain and technique, not from added extras. A blend of four caramel malts shapes the core, with Special-B® standing out for its rich caramel sweetness and raisin-like depth that recalls classic abbey beers. Rye, oats and wheat round it out with smoothness and body, making every sip bold yet silky. Full of caramel, raisins and toasted grain — proof that you don’t need adjuncts when you’ve got old-school brewing turned up to eleven.
